What We Do

Transform the lives of the most vulnerable communities by reaching out to them and facilitating a process of empowerment to enable them to sustainably respond to their needs, individually and collectively, with an emphasis on localized problem solving, collaboration and community engagement and focus on social justice and equality.

Our current work, working areas and Outreach

We are currently implementing projects in the areas of child well-being and empowerment; community organizing and networking; Education promotion; Creation care; and Transformational development We are currently working in Tikapur Municipality,  Lamki-Chuha Municipality, Bhajani Municipality, Ghodaghodi Municipality, Gauriganga Municipality, Janaki Rural Municipality, Joshipur Rural Municipality, Bardagoriya Rural Municipality and Kailari Rural Municipality of Kailali district. We are directly engaged with 26,950 men, women, girls and boys and indirectly engaged with over 100,000 community members.

Working alongside and engaging with marginalized and disadvantaged individuals and communities,  so that every person is able to live with dignity in an inclusive, equitable, just and peaceful society that care for others and the environment. 

Our Working Approach

  • In all our projects, the emphasis is on empowerment and capacity development, linkages and partnerships, and advocacy. We focus on the inclusion of most marginalized community members, especially women and people with disabilities in our projects.

    Our working approach includes:

    • Formation of SHGs, strengthening and consolidation into SHG Networks
    • Promotion of community health through health education and awareness, improving access, capacity development, and community participation
    • Livelihood support to disadvantaged groups (including people living with HIV & AIDS and people with disabilities) through organizing and linking them to support groups and networks
    • Capacity development of local communities, community networks, child clubs, schools, and teachers to promote well-being, quality education, and learning facilities for children
    • Equipping, engaging, and promoting the participation of community networks, youths, and local communities in peace-building and reconciliation
    • Advocacy
    • Partnership with local congregations in transformational development
    • Supporting local organizations and communities in disaster response and relief
